Identity verification

What KYC is for, what we ask for, and what it does not block.

In short

Verification — often called KYC, 'know your customer' — is the check that a real, eligible adult is behind an account before money leaves the platform.

What it does and does not gate

It gates withdrawals. That is all. You can sign up, play every game, earn, complete quests and enter draws without verifying anything.

This is worth being explicit about because it is a common misunderstanding: being unverified is not why you cannot enter a draw. If a draw is not available to you, the reason is eligibility or country, not verification.

What we ask for

A government identity document and a selfie to match against it. We check the name, the date of birth for the 18+ requirement, and that the document is genuine.

The documents are stored encrypted and are used for this check and for the legal obligations that come with paying out. They are not used for advertising.

If it is rejected

Usually the photo is unreadable, cropped, or the name does not match the account. You can submit again.

If you are unsure of the status of your own account, ask support rather than assuming — 'pending' and 'rejected' look similar from the outside and mean very different things.

The rest of how it works

  • Sweep Stars — The in-app currency: how you earn it, and what it is actually for.
  • Prize draws — How a draw runs, what the minimum player count is for, and when you get refunded.
  • Withdrawals — Getting paid: verification, the $10 floor, the five-day promise and the methods.
  • Referrals — Inviting people, what counts, and what deliberately does not.
  • Responsible play — The limits built into the app, and how to tell when it has stopped being fun.
