How to play Lottra
Lottra is a free-to-play sweepstakes game that runs inside Telegram. You earn an in-app currency called Sweep Stars by playing, spend them to enter prize draws, and cash winnings out to mobile money, TON or USDT. This page explains the whole loop, including the parts most sites leave out.

What Lottra actually is
Lottra is a sweepstakes, not a casino and not a lottery. The legal difference matters and it is in your favour: there is always a way to enter without paying. You are never required to buy anything to play, to enter a draw, or to win.
It runs entirely inside Telegram as a Mini App. There is nothing to download and no separate account to create — Telegram is the login. It works on a cheap Android phone and on a slow connection, which is deliberate: those are the phones our players actually have.
The company behind it is named and reachable on the company information page. If you are weighing up whether this is real, start there — an operator who will not say who they are is the first warning sign in this category, and you should apply that test to us too.
How you earn Sweep Stars, without paying
There are several free routes, and they stack:
- Tapping. The core mechanic. Each tap earns Sweep Stars and spends energy; energy refills over time, so the game is designed around short daily visits rather than one long session.
- Daily login. Opening the app each day builds a streak, and the streak pays more than the individual days do. Missing a day resets it.
- Quests. Small objectives that refresh — play a particular game, reach a number of taps, try something you have not tried.
- Rewarded ads. Watching a short video ad credits Sweep Stars. This is also where the prize money comes from, which is worth being plain about — see below.
- Referrals. Inviting someone who actually plays earns you a share. Inviting accounts that never play earns nothing; that is intentional.
- Games. Eleven of them, listed further down. Some pay out Sweep Stars, some cost them.
The live earning rates are shown in the app rather than printed here, because they are settings that get tuned and a guide quoting last month's rate is worse than one that sends you to the real figure.
Where the money comes from — the honest version
Prize money is funded by advertising. When you watch a rewarded ad, an advertiser pays Lottra, and a share of that funds the draws. That is the whole model, and it has two consequences you should know before you invest time:
- This will not replace an income. Ad revenue per person per day is small — cents, not dollars. Lottra is a game with real prizes attached, not a job. Anyone telling you otherwise about any app in this category is selling something.
- Prizes are real and are paid. Winners are paid to mobile money, TON or USDT. Payouts are recorded and the rules governing them are published.
How the draws work
A draw is open for a set period, then closes and picks a winner. Entering costs Sweep Stars; the exact price is shown on each draw. You can enter a single draw more than once up to its own limit, which improves your odds but does not guarantee anything.
Every draw has a minimum number of distinct players. If fewer people than that have entered by the time it closes, the draw is cancelled and every entrant is refunded in full, automatically. Nobody loses their stake on a draw that did not run. This is why invitations matter: a draw with too few people in it does not pay anyone.
Note the minimum counts people, not tickets. Buying ten entries yourself counts as one person towards it.
The binding version of all of this is the Official Sweepstakes Rules, and the no-purchase entry route is described on the Free Entry (AMOE) page.
The games
Eleven games, most of them built around something already familiar across the continent rather than imported wholesale. Several carry their local name depending on where you are playing from.
- Bahati Keno — pick numbers, ten are drawn. Called Orire Keno in Nigeria.
- Oware — the mancala family, against a bot. Gebeta in Ethiopia, Ayo in Nigeria, Bao in Tanzania, Omweso in Uganda, Songo in Cameroon, Awalé in Côte d'Ivoire. The one game here that rewards skill rather than luck.
- Penalty Kings — pick your corner, beat the keeper, bank or go again. Three difficulty settings.
- Sprint — a tap race. Costs energy, not Sweep Stars.
- Lucky 90 — a numbers draw twice a day. 2 Sure in Nigeria, Seven Days in Ghana, Lucky Five in South Africa.
- Ludo Roll — call the die faces.
- Hero Hour — a scheduled event you join by watching an ad.
- Card Ladder — higher or lower, climbing. Kadi in Kenya, Karata in Tanzania.
- Tap Wars — your country against the others, settled weekly.
- Mega Slots and Fortune Wheel — reels and a wheel.
One design rule runs through all of them: within a game, no choice is a trap. A rarer outcome pays more precisely because it is rarer, so the harder option is never worse value than the safe one. You can play whichever you find fun without quietly paying for the preference.
How you know a draw was not rigged
Before a draw or a round begins, Lottra publishes a fingerprint of the random seed it will use. Afterwards it publishes the seed itself. Anyone can check that the seed matches the fingerprint published beforehand and re-run the result.
Because the fingerprint is fixed before you choose, the outcome cannot be changed after seeing what you picked. The full explanation, including how to verify a result yourself, is on the provably fair page.
Getting paid
Three things stand between a win and money on your phone:
- Verify your identity, once. A photo of an ID document and a selfie. This is required by the rules that let us pay out at all, and it is a one-time step, not a per-withdrawal one. It gates withdrawals only — you can play and enter draws before verifying.
- Reach the minimum. Withdrawals start at $10. The floor exists because the payment providers charge a flat fee per transfer, and below about that amount the fee eats the payout.
- Pick where it goes. Mobile money — M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and others depending on your country — or TON or USDT if you prefer crypto.
Approved withdrawals are paid within five days. Mobile money usually lands faster than that; five days is the commitment, not the target.
Where Lottra works
Anyone can sign up and play. Cash payouts run in eleven African markets: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa and Ethiopia. Elsewhere you can still play and cash out in TON or USDT.
Some countries are restricted from draws, purchases and withdrawals entirely, for sanctions and gambling-law reasons. The list is on the home page and in the rules. Check it before you start earning rather than after.
Playing responsibly
Lottra is 18+. It is free, and it should stay a small part of your day. If you find yourself opening it compulsively, or spending money on it that you need for something else, stop and take a break — the account and the balance will still be there.
Nobody from Lottra will ever ask you for your Telegram login code, your PIN, or a payment to release a prize. Any message that does is a scam, whoever it appears to be from.
