Also known as

The same game carries a different name in almost every market, and the app uses your country's:

  • Iten — Kenya
  • Kigali Sprint — Rwanda
  • Addis Run — Ethiopia

What Sprint is

Tap as fast as you can to drive your runner down the track against three rivals. Finish on the podium and you are paid.

The important difference from every other game here: Sprint costs energy, not Sweep Stars. You cannot lose balance playing it.

How to play

  1. Open Sprint and check you have energy.
  2. Start the race and tap repeatedly to move.
  3. Three rivals run alongside you at varying paces.
  4. Finish first, second or third for a reward.

Why Sprint can never be the fastest way to earn

Energy refills on a timer and is also what powers the tap button, so any game spending it is competing with tapping for the same limited resource.

Sprint is deliberately set so that energy spent racing pays slightly more than the same energy spent tapping — enough to be worth playing, not enough to make tapping pointless. If it paid substantially more, everyone would race instead of tap and the whole economy would tilt.

So treat it as a more interesting way to spend energy you were going to spend anyway, rather than a strategy.

Worth knowing before you play

Tapping above about twelve times a second is not counted. Nothing is gained by trying to beat that with a tool.

Every random result is sealed before you choose and published afterwards, so it can be checked rather than trusted — see provably fair.
