What Hero Hour is

Hero Hour runs three times a day at set times. You join by watching one short ad, and then everybody who joined shares in the event together.

There is nothing to stake and nothing to lose — the ad is the entry.

How to play

  1. Check the countdown to the next Hero Hour.
  2. Be in the app when it opens.
  3. Watch one ad to join.
  4. Rewards are credited when the event settles.

This is where the money comes from, made visible

Lottra's prizes are funded by advertising. Hero Hour is the one place where that relationship is completely explicit: the ad you watch is the entry fee, and the revenue it generates is what pays the event.

One ad view buys one thing. An ad watched to join Hero Hour cannot also be spent elsewhere in the app, and that rule is enforced on the server rather than trusted to the screen.

If you want to understand the economics of the whole app, this is the game to look at. Everything else is a more elaborate version of the same exchange.

Worth knowing before you play

Because it is scheduled and shared, showing up matters more than anything you can do inside it. Miss the window and there is no way to join late.

Every random result is sealed before you choose and published afterwards, so it can be checked rather than trusted — see provably fair.
